Though the doll line won't hit retail until fall, Moose's first preschool property is already expanding with content, apparel and publishing.

Moose Toys is building out the licensing program for its first-ever preschool doll property Kindi Kids. The Australian toyco has appointed The Licensing Shop in Toronto to develop the program in the US and Canada, and a first range of products should hit shelves in time for back-to-school 2020.

The line will initially include apparel, accessories, stationery, publishing and drinkware and, in 2021, it will expand with sleepwear, room décor, party goods and snacks. Licensees already on board include The Bentex Group (master apparel and swimwear), Komar Brands (sleepwear), HIS International and Dreamwave.

The Kindi Kids dolls are due to hit shelves this fall, featuring glittering eyes, colorful hair and interactive accessories. But before that, original content will launch on YouTube in June, with a focus on music. The preschool toy range comes as the company celebrates the fifth anniversary of its wildly popular Shopkins collectibles brand.
