Los Angeles-based animation and interactive entertainment company, Krislin Company, has made its first foray into the European market by joining with interactive media executive, Andy Luckey, in a long-term consulting and representative agreement. Luckey, who is based in London, will be developing Krislin’s on-line products, as well as creating international markets for interactive and traditional animated TV programs.
Krislin’s co-founder, Walt Kubiak, says Krislin is ready to break into interactive media and Luckey knows the interactive market. ‘A lot of animators have a problem with the interactive business,’ says Kubiak. ‘No one knows enough about how long it takes to produce or how much it costs and Andy has a great understanding of that.’
