Nickelodeon has rebranded US television channel MTV Hits into NickMusic, a kid-targeting 24-hour music video destination that will launch on September 9.

The channel will feature a music video lineup of kids’ favorite Top 40 artists from all genres, artist-hosted programming blocks and branded segments like “Videos We Heart,” “Pop Playback” and “Bumpin’ Beats.” There will also be long-form concert specials and music-inspired series, including TeenNick Top 10.

NickMusic will serve to complement Nick’s other music offerings such as NickRadio, which features current hits, guest DJ appearances by channel┬ástars, branded entertainment and celebrity interviews on leading digital radio platform iHeartRadio.
