Mega-retailer Toys ‘R’ Us is revving up to exclusively launch Mattel’s toy line based on DreamWorks Animation’s new Netflix original series, DinoTrux.

The vehicle and play set assortment targeting kids three and up will be available at TRU stores across the US and online at as of October 1. Select items will be available August 14, the same day the show officially launches on Netflix.

Based on Chris Gall’s award-winning children’s book series of the same name, DinoTrux is set to run for three seasons on Netflix.

The 10-ep first season of the animated series follows the adventures of two mighty hybrid dinosaur-construction machine creatures — a massive Tyrannosaurus Trux and his best friend Revvit, a razor-sharp Reptool. For the first time in the Mechazoic era, the Dinotrux and Reptools have joined forces to build a bigger and better world while battling the forces of D-Structs.

Dinotrux is the latest DreamWorks series to hit the popular SVOD service as part of a landmark deal for 300 hours of original content inked by the two entertainment companies in 2013.

Netflix currently has more than 65 million subscribers worldwide, with 42 million in the US alone.
