Following its official launch at MIP Jr. last October, comedic toon Zip Zip has been picked up for broadcast by Disney Channels in multiple territories from Paris-based distributor GO-N International.

The animated series is slated to air on Disney Channels in Italy, Benelux, Russia, Israel, India, Southeast Asia, Korea, Japan, Australia and Latin America.

Produced by French prodco GO-N Productions, the series was commissioned by France Télévisions and pre-sold to SuperRTL in Germany and Disney France.

It follows a group of forest animals tired of living in the wilderness. Deciding to seek a more comfortable life in the city, they disguise themselves as domestic pets and move in with a suburban family. Comedy ensues as they try to conceal the fact that they are wild animals.

In addition to the Disney multi-territory deal, Zip Zip was also picked up by SVT (Sweden), SIC K (Portugal), ITI Neovision (Poland), E-Junior (UAE) and DSTV KIDS (Angola, Mozambique).

The series premieres this month on SuperRTL in Gemany and on France 3 in April.

GO-N International, helmed by Eric Garnet and Anne de Galard, is GO-N Productions’ distribution and pre-financing arm.
