AG Properties (AGP) has  added Australia-based manufacturer Licensing Essentials to further grow the Care Bears business in the territory. Along with new Care Bears content set to air this fall, the license, secured by AGP’s licensing agent Wild Pumpkin, will introduce brand new lines of stationery, accessories, housewares and showbags.

In Australia Adventures in Care-a-Lot currently airs on Turner’s Boomerang network, and DVDs are available from Beyond Entertainment. Toyco Hasbro also launched a plush program at mass retailers this past spring.

This fall, the all-new series, Welcome to Care-a-Lot, will air on Network 11, and Entertainment Store will launch Care Bears character costume meet-and-greets at key retail locations. New products in the apparel, sleepwear and publishing categories will launch in the coming months.
