DreamWorks Animation has named Paul Kurzawa to the newly created position of head of retail development and entertainment.
Kurzawa previously served as COO for Caruso Affiliated, overseeing all aspects of the company’s portfolio of real estate assets, including The Grove shopping center in LA. In his new role, Kurzawa will be responsible for the DreamWork’s worldwide retail brand development and integration initiatives.
In his new role, Kurzawa and his team will explore distinctive integration opportunities for the company’s branded family entertainment portfolio with top retailers across the globe. Top priorities will include DreamWorks Animation’s IP includes Shrek, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon and Puss in Boots in addition to titles from the company’s recent acquisition of Classic Media including Where’s Waldo?, Olivia, Noddy and Postman Pat.
Kurzawa has more than 20 years of experience working fo retail shopping center developers in the world including Westfield, Jones Lang Lasalle, Lend Lease and Caruso Affiliated.
