Sesame Workshop has made three of its most popular Sesame Street apps available for the Kindle Fire and at the Amazon Appstore for Android devices.

The apps Elmo Loves 123s, Another Monster at the End of This Book and Potty Time with Elmo are among the first Sesame offerings available for the Kindle Fire color tablet.

Sesame has also made Another Monster at the End of This Book and Potty Time with Elmo available as part of Kindle FreeTime Unlimited, which offers access to thousands of books, games, educational apps, movies and TV shows. Sesame Workshop first collaborated with Amazon last year to bring Sesame Street eBooks and television episodes to Kindle Fire as part of the Kindle FreeTime Unlimited content service.

Sesame Workshop is also adding two free apps to its offerings in the Amazon Appstore, Sesame Street for Military Families and Sesame Street: Divorce. The Sesame Street for Military Families app provides mobile access to videos, articles, storybooks, parent guides and other resources to help support preschool and school-aged children as they encounter transitions common to military families. The Sesame Street: Divorce app provides parents and caregivers with tools to help children ages two to eight cope with the transitions related to divorce or separation.

The company is expected to add more Sesame Street apps, including The Great Cookie Thief and Elmo Loves ABCs, to the Kindle Fire in the coming months.
