Nickelodeon Latin America’s fourth original telenovela, the tween-targeting, Spanish language 11 11, En Mi Cuadra Nada Cuadra (75 x 60 minutes), and second fully produced by the kidsnet is headed for production in Miami.

Miami-based indie content producer Somos Productions is on-board to produce the novela while Somos Distribution will handle international distribution.

Based on an original idea from acclaimed Peruvian film director/producer Luis Llosa, 11 11, En Mi Cuadra Nada Cuadra tells the story of a 14-year-old boy, Kike, who has the ability to transform into a 20-year-old version of himself who can interact with the real world whenever Kike falls asleep.

11 11, en Mi Cuadra Nada Cuadra will also be customized to Portuguese for Nickelodeon Brazil and a pan-regional premiere is expected for fall 2012.

The new novela comes after the success of Nickelodeon Latin America’s most recent novela, Grachi (75 x 60 minutes), which sold to broadcasters throughout Latin America in January 2011 thanks to its distribution partner Comarex.
