Nancy Kanter, SVP of original programming and general manager of Disney Junior Worldwide, will be featured in a new interview series hosted by the Women in Children’s Media (WiCM) nonprofit organization at the Tribeca Film Center in New York on Monday, February 13.

WiCM advisory board member and president of Redhead Consulting, Amy Friedman, will moderate the event, which is the first in WiCM’s Red Chair Series and promises to be an intimate conversation about Kanter’s life as an industry leader in children’s media.

Kanter joined Disney Channel in 2001 as VP of original programming after stints as president for Bluecow.com, an internet site for children’s entertainment, and executive producer for Sesame Workshop.
