- The latest initiative under BBC Studios’ “Let’s Play Chef” 2025 brand theme for Bluey will see popular preschool toon take over Halfbrick Studios’ popular game Fruit Ninja Classic+ on Apple Arcade. This limited-time crossover (pictured) is slated to run from June 19 to August 13, featuring four in-game events (Featherwand, Sticky Gecko, Asparagus and Fruit Salad) populated with characters from the show.
- LatAm children’s channel KidOO has scooped up multiple titles from Moonbug Entertainment, including Meekah, Little Baby Bum and Morphle. Owned and operated by 2BeNamed, KidOO has previously acquired Future Chicken Today Show (Wind Sun Sky) and 5-Minute Crafts (TheSoul Publishing).
- Distributor AliLeo Media has sold South Korean preschool toon Robocar Poli to Tiny Pop in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Four seasons of the series produced by Roi Visual will launch on Tiny Pop’s linear, FAST, AVOD and app platforms starting in July.
- Barcelona’s Filmax has secured distribution rights to an upcoming musical feature called Jasmine & Jambo, which it will shop around at Annecy next week. Based on a same-name 2D-animated preschool series from Spanish prodco Teidees, the pic revolves around two besties in a place known as Soundland.
- Goodfellas Animation has closed several new deals for two buzzy kid-friendly features that will be competing at Annecy. Little Amélie or The Character Of Rain was picked up in regions including the UK (Vue Lumière), Latin America (Cine Canibal), Japan (Comstock) and China (Blue Media). And French film Arco has sold into Hungary (Mozinet), Middle East/Turkey (The Plot Pictures), Japan (Comstock) and South Korea (Pan Cinema), among others.
