Hong Kong-based toyco Zing has acquired the Marshmallow Fun line of toys from Dallas’ Marshmallow Fun Company.

Following the deal, Zing will now manufacture and market a line of marshmallow-shooting bows and blasters, which will be distributed in North America by Zing-owned retailers Ozwest and Fizz Bizz. One of the main products the toyco is now manufacturing is the Marshmallow Blaster (pictured). An all-ages toy, the blaster can shoots at a range of up to 30 feet and can hold 25 mini marshmallows.

The new line joins a number of similar bow and arrow toys already in Zing’s portfolio, including its Air Storm, Firetek and Hyperstrike Bow & Arrows brands. It’s seen success with these products in the past, snagging a nomination in 2016 for the Toy Industry Association’s best outdoor product at the Toy of the Year Awards.

Ozwest’s VP of operations Kristy Comstock said that blasters, and bow and arrow sets have fueled the company’s growth and continue to be a core part of its business, in a statement.
