DHX Media is home to one of the largest kids content catalogs in the biz, and it has a whole new crop of shows ready to conquer the world

With an A-list lineup of broadcasters for the CBeebies-commissioned revival of Teletubbies, including Nick (US), Rai (Italy), Gulli (France) and ABC Australia—and solid placement for the Inspector Gadget reboot on Netflix US, Turner Broadcasting EMEA, Super RTL (Germany), France TV and Teletoon (Canada)—it was a big year, to say the least, for the distribution team at Canada’s DHX Media.
“We are very proud of the new Teletubbies. It was very high on our priority list to make sure we could deliver a great series that really honored what an incredible brand Teletubbies is,” says Josh Scherba, SVP of distribution at DHX Media.
Two other programs DHX Media is enthusiastic about are the new Degrassi series, debuting as a Netflix Original, and girl-skewing live-actioner Make It Pop, which launched in April on Nick and was promptly renewed for a second season.
“Our ability to offer distinct programs across the entire kids spectrum makes us an important supplier to most of the world,” Scherba adds.
