FremantleMedia Kids & Family (FMK) has signed its first format deal with Swedish public broadcaster SVT, which has commissioned Marrying Mum and Dad for its Barnkanalen channel.
The series, currently in its sixth season on CBBC in the UK, will be produced by FM Sweden, which has brought localized versions of reality shows like X Factor, Idol and Got Talent to the country.
Aimed at six- to 11-year-olds, the 10 x 29-minute series will bow later this year, and features parents handing over complete control of planning their wedding to their kids, who have four weeks to get it done.
