US net Discovery Family is set to premiere two live-action kids shows next month, The Dengineers (pictured) and Post My Party.

Produced in-house by CBBC Productions for the UK kids channel, The Dengineers features 11 episodes of hosts Mark Wright and Lauren Layfield creating children’s dream playrooms and playhouses. The US launch of the show on Discovery Family follows a May deal inked by series distributor Beyond Distribution.

Half-hour series Post My Party, meanwhile, follows event planner Lynzie Kent as she helps kids plan elaborate parties and create DIY decorations. The series is produced by General Purpose Entertainment and Blue Ant Media Productions.

The launches are in line with Discovery Family Channel’s mandate to focus on family-friendly, real-world programs during primetime. It also follows the continued success of My Little Pony, with two of the brand’s most popular series recently renewed for the spring of 2017.
