New York’s Classic Media has announced that stalwart canine star Lassie is set to reappear on-screen in an all-new pet healthcare and lifestyle series entitled Lassie’s Pet Vet.
Currently in production, the 13 x 30-minute series will co-star vet-to-the-stars Dr. Jeff Weber when it debuts in July via American Public Television.
Episodes focusing on topics such as on pet health, grooming and nutrition tips and pet-related trivia are set up in a magazine-style format, and Classic Media and APT plan to promote the launch of the show with local events including Lassie public appearances.
