Aardman’s sheep scores Nick Euro berth

Bristol, UK-based Aardman Animation has inked a deal with Nickelodeon Benelux, Spain, India, Australia and New Zealand to bring Shaun The Sheep to the airwaves in those countries.

Bristol, UK-based Aardman Animation has inked a deal with Nickelodeon Benelux, Spain, India, Australia and New Zealand to bring Shaun The Sheep to the airwaves in those countries.

The 40 x seven-minute stop-motion series was commissioned by CBBC and made its debut in March, targeting four- to 10-year-olds.

The show will debut in Benelux in April, Spain and India in May, and Australia and New Zealand later in the year after it has broadcast on ABC and TVNZ.

Aaardman now has broadcast deals in across 72 different territories for the wee sheep.
