People moves: Brand Central replenishes its licensing ranks

L.A.-based licensing agency Brand Central has bolstered its management team with four new sales and marketing experts; Eric Stein, Andrea Brent and Hazel Brown.

L.A.-based licensing agency Brand Central has bolstered its management team with four new sales and marketing experts.

Eric Stein has been named VP of sales and marketing and will be responsible for day-to-day operations. Stein has an extensive work history, with stints at companies such as Lucasfilm, MGM and Sony. Most recently, he launched the licensing division at Taffy Entertainment.

Stepping in as licensing manager is Andrea Brent, whose new remit includes managing partnerships with licensees in lifestyle categories such as apparel, accessories, health & beauty, back-to-school, stationery and housewares. Prior to joining Brand Central, Brent was part of Twentieth Century Fox’s licensing team and worked on properties includingThe Simpsons, Family Guy and Ice Age.

Hazel Brown has been named marketing manager and will handle all publicity initiatives, and finally, Kimberly Howell joins as a licensing associate with a mandate to assist with new business development.
