Disney’s preschool CGI series Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is moving into more than 80 territories thanks to a series of deals conducted by distribution arm Buena Vista International Television. The deal includes sales to GMTV (UK), Seven Network Australia, TVNZ (New Zealand), TF1 (France), Super RTL (Germany), RAI (Italy), TVE (Spain), Channel One (Russia), RTE (Ireland), Fiji TV, Kids Central (Singapore), TVB Pearl (Hong Kong), TV3 (Malaysia) and KBS (Korea).
In Europe, the Middle East and Africa the CGI 22 x 30-minute series has been shown in more than 100 million terrestrial TV homes. Set in Mickey Mouse’s clubhouse, Mickey speaks directly to his preschool audience and helps them solve everyday practical problems. The show bowed in May 2006 on Disney Channels and Playhouse Disney Channels around the globe.
