Jetix Europe enjoyed a 4% increase in revenue over the six month period ended March 31st. The pan-European integrated kids’ entertainment company reported revenues of US$119 million, while operating profits increased 34% to US$22.9 million.

During the six month period, Jetix’s subscribers increased by 2.6 million to 49.4 million households across 58 countries.

CEO Paul Taylor says he was pleased with the results, particularly the growth experienced by the company’s consumer products division. However, he notes, Jetix’s online and subscription revenues were hurt by a decline in advertising in some of the bigger markets including Western Europe.

Jetix Euro channels are currently broadcast in 18 languages, through 15 feeds to 58 countries.
