Educational Adventures nabs licensees, appoints new merch guru

Charlotte, North Carolina's Educational Adventures has just signed a number of licensing deals for its flagship property, Danger Rangers. Omaha, Nebraska-based MediBadge is on-board to produce stickers and temporary tattoos, and themed bean bags from The Bean Bag Boys will start showing up at mass retail in Q3. Meanwhile, oral care manufacturer World Trend will roll out manual, battery-operated and musical toothbrushes featuring the Danger Rangers cast in Q4 to the grocery and drug channel.

Charlotte, North Carolina’s Educational Adventures has just signed a number of licensing deals for its flagship property, Danger Rangers. Omaha, Nebraska-based MediBadge is on-board to produce stickers and temporary tattoos, and themed bean bags from The Bean Bag Boys will start showing up at mass retail in Q3. Meanwhile, oral care manufacturer World Trend will roll out manual, battery-operated and musical toothbrushes featuring the Danger Rangers cast in Q4 to the grocery and drug channel.

To keep the momentum going, Educational Adventures has tapped Todd Merker for the post of senior licensing director. Merker, with more than 15 years’ experience on the manufacturing side, has licensed the likes of SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and Coca-Cola for various products.
