Fresh from getting a cash infusion from an L.A.-based private equity firm, New York and London-headquartered TV prodco and licensing company Silvergate Media is launching an Octonauts live tour in the US, in partnership with children’s stage show producers Red Light Management and Fiery Light.

The US tour, which starts September 23, follows live shows previously produced in the UK and Australia. It will kick off in San Diego, then make its way across the country, stopping in more than 60 cities including major markets like Boston, Chicago and Dallas.

The Octonauts and the Deep Sea Volcano Adventure is based on the hit Octonauts preschool series, which is in its fourth season and airs in more than 100 countries on broadcasters like Disney Channel (US), CBeebies (UK), ABC (Australia), TF1 (France), Super RTL (Germany) and (CCTV) China.

The live show features songs from the Octonauts’ eight-member crew as it takes the audience along on an underwater adventure filled with sea life surprises.

The deal for the live show was brokered by Silvergate’s US licensing agent for Octonauts, Licensing Street.
