FremantleMedia Enterprises has announced a range of promotions in Germany. Mark Newton is now managing FME’s German licensing business in addition to his existing role as EVP of licensing, bringing the division’s entire EMEA operations under one umbrella.

In this new position, Newton will oversee the development of product and promotional associations that enhance and extend consumers’ experience of FME’s brands across music publishing, reality TV, online, sponsorship and live events. Newton takes over FME’s licensing business in Germany from Birgit Hoensch, who has left to join TRL Enterprises.

Also moving up is Diana Dieckmann, who has assumed the role of VP of licensing Germany, Eastern, Central and Southern Europe. In this position, Dieckmann will be responsible for overseeing the extension of the company’s brands off-screen across the region, in addition to managing an expanding team of licensing execs based at FME’s Potsdam offices.
