The UK is making way for the arrival of its newest ad-free digital TV channel, dubbed E-Bop.tv, which will exclusively feature British preschool content.

The free channel is being positioned by its founders─ kids TV producer Keith Littler (Little Red Tractor, Lazytown) and entrepreneur Victoria Brook─as an answer what the perceive as the growing Americanization of British television and digital content.

In addition to airing 100% original UK content, the channel aims to set itself apart from its competitors through an automatic switch-off feature, which will take effect after two hours of continuous viewing.

Launching May 31, initial E-Bop.tv programs will include Little Red Tractor (pictured), Billy, Jolly Jobs,  Flossie the Tooth Fairy and Don’t Like It, Won’t Eat It. E-Bop.tv’s channel homepage will feature a section for grown-ups that offers magazine-driven content ranging from style and fashion tips, to high-end motor sports. This portal will also include vlogs on a wide range of subjects.

E-Bop.tv will also have a children’s activity center that will sync with show content. As for the programming itself, all content will be updated on the first day of every month. There will also be a Space Agents subscription element available, where members will receive advance programming information, special event invites and regular updates.
