Icon scores slew of international sales

Barcelona-based Icon Animation has signed a number of international television, home video and publishing deals for Vitaminix and various series from its third-party distribution library. Greece-based broadcaster 06TB has taken television and home video rights for several properties, including three Icon Animation-produced shows: 104 x two-minute Vitaminix, 52 x 12-minute Lola & Virginia, and 33 x 26-minute Mimi & Mr. Bobo.

Barcelona-based Icon Animation has signed a number of international television, home video and publishing deals for Vitaminix and various series from its third-party distribution library. Greece-based broadcaster 06TB has taken television and home video rights for several properties, including three Icon Animation-produced shows: 104 x two-minute Vitaminix, 52 x 12-minute Lola & Virginia, and 33 x 26-minute Mimi & Mr. Bobo.

The broadcaster has also acquired third-party RAI/Stranemani co-pro Rat Man (52 x 13-minutes), Antena 3’s Cloud Trotters (26 x 26 minutes) and the feature film Christoper Coolumbus.

In Iberia, Balearic free-TV Channel IB3 has picked up Vitaminix as well as Skyland and Corneil & Bernie, while Portugal’s RTP has licensed Postman Pat and 26 x 13-minute The Edebits.

Additionally, Mediacop Kids channel in Central Singapore has snapped up all episodes of Vitaminix and Brazil’s Spot Films has signed a home video deal for Les Gnoufs.
