Sony looks to extend PlayStation line

Sony Computer Entertainment America has tapped Dimensional Branding Group to take PlayStation from game console to consumer products line. The California-based agency is now the exclusive licensing rep for the PlayStation brand and its first-party software title characters and related IP.

Sony Computer Entertainment America has tapped Dimensional Branding Group to take PlayStation from game console to consumer products line. The California-based agency is now the exclusive licensing rep for the PlayStation brand and its first-party software title characters and related IP.

DBG is getting to work on designing a kid-targeted merch program for PlayStation and is looking for licensees in children’s lifestyle products and traditional categories such as publishing, toys, home décor and stationery.
