• New York's Brian Yanish Designs has signed a licensing deal with L.A.-based apparel manufacturer Mighty Fine that will see new toddler, tweens, juniors, and men's lines sporting characters and artwork from Yanish's The Scrap Kins property. Expect the goods to hit retail before the holidays.

• The second ep of Nickelodeon's new UGC series iCarly attracted more than 3.4 million total viewers, a 68% increase in the time period over last year. Tween viewership shot up by 95% to score a 7.0 rating (1.5 million viewers), while the kids six to 11 audience was up by 40% and 39% more kids two to 11 tuned in.
