Southern Star Group has appointed Rory Callaghan as MD of Endemol Southern Star. Callaghan is stepping into the role immediately, and assumes overall responsibility for the production activities of Endemol Southern Star and Southern Star Entertainment.
Callaghan first joined the company in January 2006, and spent time as MD of Granada Productions Australia prior to that.
The appointment comes on the heels of the decision by former Endemol Southern Star MD Kris Noble to step back from full-time role at the production business.
