Kidcaster qubo has inked a deal for the US television rights to Breakthrough Entertainment/Ellipsanime series Miss BG. qubo has snapped up the 52 x 30-minute toon plus an additional 52 minutes of multiplatform-ready vignettes in English and Spanish. The series will premiere on qubo’s 24/7 digital channel.
Miss BG is adapted from the Gudele & Les Bebes book series authored by Fanny Joly, illustrated by Roser Capdevilla and published in France by Hachette-Jeunesse. Along with the two prodcos, TVO, TFO and France 5 were in on the production of the CGI series aimed at kids five to eight.
