• Aardman International will be heading to MIPCOM with its new Wallace and Gromit film Trouble At’ Mill in tow. Currently in pre-production, the film will be shown on BBC One next year.
• In a move that is bound to be duplicated, American Classic Toys has started a program to place bright orange stickers on its toys, declaring they’re 100% lead free. The company’s SuDoKu Cube, Skittle Pool, The American Classic Derby and the Word Cube will be among the first to sport the stickers.
• A bevy of high-fashion Peanuts-inspired items are up for bid at www.ebay.com/snoopyinfashion until the end of October. The designs were unveiled at Met Life Snoopy in Fashion, the first-ever Peanuts runway show held September 7 in New York’s Bryant Park. All proceeds will benefit the Dress For Success charity.
• The Wumblers has added two new broadcasters to the fold. The Australian Christian Channel and KTV (Kids and Teens Television) are joining Trinity Broadcasting and Smile Of A Child networks as broadcasters of the preschool series produced by The Giddy Gander Company.
