• Toronto, Canada-based CCI Entertainment and UAE-based Blink Studios have inked a development and production deal. The first project on the joint slate is a new preschool CGI-animated series entitled Tooterville (working title), which will be previewed at MIP Jr. this coming weekend.
• New pan-Euro channel KidsCo has signed a content deal with Daro Film Distribution. Daro will supply KidsCo with series such as 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd and New Adventures of Ocean Girl.
• LazyTown is launching an e-commerce site with Digital Stores. The online storefront will sell merch based on the Icelandic television series, which currently airs in the UK on Nick Jr. and CBeebies. A launch date has yet to be set.
• BBC Worldwide has sold its DinoSapien series to SABC (South Africa), NRK (Norway) and NOS (Holland), bringing the number of broadcast deals up to an even dozen.
