EM signs deal with Universal Music Family Entertainment

EM.Entertainment has signed an extensive licensing contract with Universal Music Family Entertainment - a subsidiary of universal Music Deutschland GmbH - for exploitation of IP within the audio theater sector in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

EM.Entertainment has signed an extensive licensing contract with Universal Music Family Entertainment – a subsidiary of universal Music Deutschland GmbH – for exploitation of IP within the audio theater sector in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The property package includes well-known German IP such as Maya the Bee, Vicky the Viking, Sinbad and Pinocchio. The deal encompasses the distribution of content via online platforms and electronic sell-through models, and will be in place until May 31, 2011. Marketing of the programs in audio formats such as cassette and CD, as well as in digital versions, is also part of the agreement.
