UK-based indie brand manager Coolabi Group has inked a deal with plush manufacturer TY UK for a range of gift plush for the new stop-motion animated series Clangers.  

TY will distribute its gift plush range based on characters from the BAFTA-winning series to select retailers in the UK and Ireland beginning this spring.

Coolabi has also lined up A-list partners across major categories, such as master toy (Character Options), publishing (Penguin), apparel (Fashion UK) and more.

The IP is also repped by The Fusion Agency in Australia and New Zealand. Aussie pubcaster ABC plans to debut Clangers early this year.

The 52 x 11-minute series launched last summer on CBeebies in the UK and on Sprout in the US. The UK version is narrated by English actor and comedian Michael Palin (Monty Python and the Holy Grail), while Canadian actor William Shatner narrates the US program.
