L.A.-based Rigel Entertainment is set to begin principle photography next month in Vancouver on a full-length theatrical starring High School Musical‘s Corbin Bleu. Metal Birding casts Bleu as 19-year-old Cale Bryan, a superstar racer on the local motocross circuit.
The coming of age story features personal and professional ups and downs that is expected from the sports film genre. Rigel Entertainment owns the worldwide rights to the film and expects it to hit theaters in late 2008.
