People moves: LeapFrog taps gaming world for new hire

LeapFrog Enterprises has made two key appointments. David Schwartz is taking up the post of VP of game development at the Emeryville, California-based early learning products manufacturer, while Christopher Miller joins as VP of marketing.

LeapFrog Enterprises has made two key appointments. David Schwartz is taking up the post of VP of game development at the Emeryville, California-based early learning products manufacturer, while Christopher Miller joins as VP of marketing.

LeapFrog looked to the gaming industry to find Schwartz, who hales from video game publishing giant Electronic Arts, where he served as senior development director, providing leadership and strategic vision to contract game studios.

Miller, meanwhile, is now heading up brand marketing and advertising for LeapFrog, and taking overseeing its public relations and packaging efforts. Miller began his marketing career at Young & Rubicam Advertising taking the lead on crafting campaigns for major consumer brands.
