Cookie Jar Entertainment has secured a cash influx, thanks to a new agreement with the Bank of America that could see the company’s credit line extended to as much as US$40 million.

Cookie Jar is putting the newfound funding to work on current productions, including The Doodlebops, Caillou, Arthur and new series Hurray for Huckle and Magi-Nation.

Additionally, expect the Toronto, Canada-based company to roll out a revitalized development slate for 2008/09 that should exceed 200 eps of new programming. In the meantime, master licensee iToys is getting ready to launch a line of electronic music toys based on the The Doodlebops at North American mass retailers just in time for Christmas.
