The N, the night-time net for US teens, and prodco Reveille have started production on a new teen fitness reality series entitled The N’s Student Body.
The eight-ep, hour-long series brings together two rival high schools and their local community for a life-changing mission to pursue personal health and wellness. Dancing With the Stars contestant and daughter of boxing legend Mohamed Ali, Laila Ali, has been tapped to host the show that will premiere on The N in 2008.
Moving to summer 2008 sked, The Tom Lynch Company has started work on a 13-episode original comedy series The Assistants. The series follows the mishaps of four 20-somehing showbiz assistants employed by a big-shot Hollywood producer.
