On a growth spurt, London-based IP house Chorion has made its second acquisition in as many years, scooping up UK licensing agency The Copyrights Group. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Together Chorion and Copyrights now represent a large portfolio of classic British properties with Copyrights’ Beatrix Potter, Paddington Bear, Raymond Briggs’ The Snowman and Horrible Histories joining Mr. Men, Noddy and Enid Blyton’s Famous Five under one roof.

Next up on newly expanded Chorion’s to do list is to bolster the presence of its properties in international licensing markets, particularly in North America and Japan.
