Imira signs Asian TV and merch deals

Barcelona, Spain-based Imira Entertainment (the company formerly known as Icon Animation) has been busy with more than just a name change. To start, Imira has sold 52 x 13 minute toon Rat Man to HBO Family Channel Asia.

Barcelona, Spain-based Imira Entertainment (the company formerly known as Icon Animation) has been busy with more than just a name change. To start, Imira has sold 52 x 13 minute toon Rat Man to HBO Family Channel Asia.

Moving on, TV and hme vdeo and VOD rights for Go!Go!Pig, a 52 x two- minute series have been snapped up by Taiwan’s Power International Group.

And staying in the territory, 104 x two-minute eps of Imira Entertainment production Vitaminix have been acquired by free-TV channel RTM in Malaysia.

Lola & Virginia (52 x 12 minutes) has also continued to extend its presence in Asia, as Imira has tapped Empire International to rep licensing activity for the property in South East Asia, including the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Taiwan.
