• New York City-based Rubie’s Costume Co. has scored the costumes, Halloween accessories, masks and boxed costumes license for DreamWorks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda. Set for theatrical release on June 6, 2008, the CGI toon features the voice talents of Hollywood A-listers Jack Black and Angelina Jolie.
• Activision and 4Kids Entertainment have released Monster Jam for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and Wii consoles. The new video game is based on the world’s leading monster truck series and features stadium racing and outdoor battles, and famous Monster Trucks Grave Digger and Maximum Destruction.
• The Naked Brothers Band: Been There, Rocked That bows on Nickelodeon US on Saturday, December 1 at 9 p.m. The ep features six music videos that showcase the band’s hits, including Banana Smoothie, Taxi Cab and Long Distance. The band’s first CD was released by Nickelodeon and Columbia Records last month.
