Al Ovadia & Associates has inked a US licensing deal for Spanish-language animated comedy property Huevocartoon with mobile content company Airborne Entertainment.
The web-based, Flash-animated shorts featuring a group of outspoken eggs were launched in Mexico in 2002. Since then, Huevocartoon has built a loyal fan base and has generated a number of ancillary projects, including an animated film and a full merch program.
The Huevocartoon mobile suite of content will be available on North American carriers early next year.
