4Kids inks Dinosaur King deals

New York City-based 4Kids Entertainment has signed licensing agreements with several broadcasters in the UK and Europe for its new animated series Dinosaur King.

New York City-based 4Kids Entertainment has signed licensing agreements with several broadcasters in the UK and Europe for its new animated series Dinosaur King.

The fantasy-adventure series that mixes traditional animation and CGI is set to launch on Mediaset (Italy), RTL2 (Germany), France 3 (France), Canal J (France) and Jetix (UK, Scandinavia and Spain) in the 2008-09 season.

In the US, Dinosaur King premiered in September and currently airs on the Saturday morning terrestrial block, 4Kids TV.
