Canadian media heavyweight Corus Entertainment and MTV Networks International have extended their multi-year broadcast partnership for Nickelodeon content into the digital realm.

Under one new multi-platform agreement, Corus now holds Canadian rights across all media to Nick’s content airing on Corus nets YTV and Treehouse, including broadband, video-on-demand, pay-per-view, electronic sell-through and gaming. Additionally, Corus will also rep Nickelodeon’s websites, such as Nick.com, for advertising sales across Canada.

Corus subsidiary YTV currently holds rights in Canada to several current Nick series, including SpongeBob SquarePants, El Tigre, The Naked Brothers Band and iCarly.
