In a move that will see her taking pitches instead of giving them, Dominique Bazay is joining Montreal, Canada-based kids French-language channel Vrak.TV as its new VP of programming.

Bazay will head up the programming operations for the Astral Media subsidiary and report to Marie Collin, principal VP of programming and communications for Canal Vie, Vrak TV and MusiquePlus.

Most recently, Bazay worked as the VP of distribution at Toronto, Canada-based Decode Entertainment and her responsibilities centered around the financing and sale of kid- and teen-centric series. Before joining Decode in 1999, she worked at BBC Worldwide and Paragon Entertainment.
