HIT appoints Funtastic to oversee evolution of Thomas Down Under

HIT Entertainment has appointed Australian firm Funtastic Limited as its Thomas & Friends Trackmaster distributor for the continent.

HIT Entertainment has appointed Australian firm Funtastic Limited as its Thomas & Friends Trackmaster distributor for the continent.

Funtastic will oversee the transition of the Thomas & Friends line from its current Motor Road and Rail models to the new Trackmaster system, which is due to launch in 2009.

Funtastic will also continue to distribute Thomas & Friends preschool toys from Tomy. The property remains popular in the territory; the recent Thomas & Friends live stage show attracted more than 100,000 attendees.
