Disney-ABC Worldwide Television & Disney Media Networks has named Rob Gilby as SVP and MD of Disney-ABC International Television, Asia-Pacific.
Gilby will be making the move from London, where he held the post of MD for Disney Channel UK, Scandinavia and emerging markets since January 2006.
Growing distribution and revenue of all television and film content developed through Disney Studios, ABC TV, ABC Studios, Disney Channel and Disney-ABC Cable Networks in the Asia Pacific Region is Gilby’s top priority. His remit includes oversight of Australia, New Zealand, China, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Korea and other territories, with the exception of Japan.
