Cookie Jar Entertainment has licensed the first three seasons of its hit action-adventure series Johnny Test to Rede Record in Brazil. The show will begin airing in 2008.

• Australia-based prodco Sticky Pictures and Canadian animation studio Nelvana Studios have gone into production on the new animated 52 x 12-minute series Pearlie. The production will be delivered to Network Ten in Australia and YTV in Canada in 2009.

• The debut of Disney Channel's 71st original movie, Minutemen scored Friday's number-one rating with in kids 6 to11 and tweens 9 to 14 in the US, attracting a total of 7.3 Million viewers in its final quarter-hour.
