Jetix Europe has promoted Monika Oomen to the role of deputy managing director for the Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East markets.
In her new role, Oomen will be responsible for the management of sales and marketing strategies for the net in more than 25 countries, with an emphasis on gathering content for the emerging markets.
Oomen joined Jetix in July 2006 as commercial director, where she handled the CEE territory, and prior to that she served as managing and program director for music television channel VIVA Polska
