Zodiak Kids and Britt Allcroft Productions are conjuring up a remake of ’90s toon The Magic Adventures of Mumfie for a new generation of kids.

Zodiak Kids Studios will develop a new animated TV show based on characters from the original 79-ep series, including elephant Mumfie, his loyal scarecrow sidekick and a merry band of airborne extras—including birds, a flying pig, a flying whale and some pirates.

The Magic Adventures of Mumfie first aired on CiTV in the UK and Fox Kids in the US, and it went on to enjoy a five-year run from 1994 to 1999. Britt Allcroft also produced a Magic Adventures of Mumfie movie in 1996.
