The new group will be led by Tom Toumazis who’s been upped to EVP and MD for Disney-ABC International Television EMEA & Canada.

The new structure takes effect in April and will include sales teams from Disney’s EMEA TV businesses, including Disney Channel, ESPN and Disney-ABC International Television, forming one group, with Channel Distribution, Program Distribution and New Media forming three sub-teams in the structure.

Disney currently has 24 Disney-branded Channels and eight ESPN channels in EMEA, while Jetix Europe has 15 channels in the region. Disney also licenses over 30,000 hours of content to 1,300 broadcasters across 240 territories outside of the US.
